Customized Hats: A Great Way For Branding Your Business

November 11th, 2009 Jason Myers No comments

It is important for any industry today to make a brand that is effortlessly recognized by their customers and prospects. A method to perform this is to use caps or caps that are personalized with your business logo. Personalized caps can be ordered over the internet and include different kinds of caps you can have printed with your name or logo.

You can select from silk screened caps or custom embroidered hats. Custom embroidery is ideal as it wears well and has a higher perceived value. Most individuals adore hats, especially during hot season, and will wear them most of the time. When you select custom-made hats for a marketing item, you are getting free advertising to the public every time somebody wears one of your hats. There are custom embroidered hats for other purposes, in addition to branding a business. Any group who needs to advertise their name or logo at varied occasions often wears customized caps: Schools, Sports teams, Clubs, Organizations.

There are a lot of cap styles and colors to choose from for any occasion. Ball caps, golf hats, knit caps, sun visors and hats, are just some of the most famous styles. The imprinting or embroidery can be done in just about any color you can imagine.

Hats may be relatively affordable, they are well liked, used often and are becoming more and more accepted as part of the present informal outfit. Low profile caps are very famous now and the latest material range from micro fiber to mesh. Consider the longevity of your brand on a favourite cap.

One way to spread the advertising about your business with customized hats is to offer them as gifts at golf outings and tournaments. Golf tournaments and other charity events are always looking for sponsors who will contribute presents and giveaways.

When you contribute your customized caps, people will gladly accept them, and will wear them too. Select your customized hats according to the event you are sponsoring, etc. Be sure to select a cap that is also right for the season.

Chiropractic Social Networking and Branding

October 10th, 2009 Matthew Loop DC No comments

As a chiropractor in 2009, you absolutely need to create your brand online to have any potential for future success in the coming years. How you do this is by letting people know who you are and what you do, successfully putting your name and face out there in front of others. There is no doubt other practices in your area that are competing with you for new patients, so you need to make sure that youre on the cutting edge to be the “go-to” chiropractor for those potential patients.

The most powerful for of branding that you can employ is chiropractic internet marketing using the social networking sites. You can be very creative in how you go about this task, and the more creative the better because its going to put your practice in front of and ahead of the rest.

The very first step, and the most powerful, that you can take for your chiropractic marketing is to get on sites like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and LinkedIn; just to name a few. If youre already a fan of social media in your personal ventures, then you understand the potential for making new friends and connection in this way. When you harness this same tool for your business, the potential for successful marketing is extraordinary.

Each friend request that you send automatically sends an email to that person and they are prompted to have a look at your profile. The people you add must approve you so that you can be on their list. This means them adding you is their way of giving you permission to establish a relationship with them. This is a huge reason why social networking has become a super effective method of chiropractic marketing.

What you want to do is to join many social networking sites. If you don’t have the time to do this, then you can have your CA or marketing director take care of these tasks so you can go about business as usual and have someone working to bring in your business with social media. This is the perfect marriage because it will more than pay for itself since outsourcing to a staff member to get the job done is much more cost effective than having to hire someone else to do it or take your free time to do it alone.

Once your profile is on these sites and youre ready to go, you want to begin to softly market yourself to people in your community. You do this by making friend requests and allowing your new friends to learn more about you at your profile. Your profile should be stocked with some videos, articles, and insights that will drive your new friends to visit your website to learn more. As you begin to offer your friends special promotions and discounts on your services, theyre going to be more and more drawn to coming to your office.

Status updates allow you to let everyone know what is going on with you or the practice and what sort of help you can offer them. It is always important to be able to offer those on your friends list a little something special so that they will resonate with you and potentially become patients. Be yourself, share some personal information, and let them know that your practice can take care of their many health concerns. Since chiropractic care is known to help other ailments aside from back problems, many people will be appreciative of having this knowledge.

So, go ahead and plunge into chiropractic internet marketing with social networks. That way you can brand yourself and be the top-dog in your community fast. Doing a little every day can get you a flood of patients walking through your door and give you local celebrity status!

How to Be a Rainmaker

September 24th, 2009 Rikki Dee No comments

Rain- That’s been the prevailing weather here in New York for what feels like forever or at least the last bunch of months or so anyway! Let me ask you, at what point did Seattle and the North East Coast tradeplaces and I was left in the dark?

Since rain was the topic of the day this past June/July it makes me recall a presentation on Branding I viewed given by Ben Mack which I think had the title: “How to Be a Rainmaker” so something like that.

Over the next few articles or so I will endeavor to reveal some of the essential points of this presentation which was comprised of three key sections: 1) Making lightning Strike, 2) How to keep the lightning striking and 3) Bottling your lightning.

In case your not aware of who Bejamin Mack is, he is one of the chief authorities on Branding right now in the USA. He is considered legendary in certain Ad agency circles for this work. Over the years Ben has worked at some of the best advertizing agencies aorund and was a Vice President for Brand strategy for a very large corporation.

Essentially, what that means was he was head strategist in charge of a ” billion dollar account (that’s right, I said ” billion or 500 million smakers)! Don’t you think he knows what he is talking about? I do, and not only has he performed magic for the many businesses he has beem employed at, he is also a professional magician who at the age of 19 was the youngest recipient of the Award of Merit given by the magic castle.

Do you know what a Rainmaker is? Do you want to become one? A rainmaker aside from the apparent implication of a indian shaman who using magic makes it rain, is a person with the outstanding knack to be a magnet for clients, exploit (in a good way) political associations, and bottom line, make the corporation a great deal of money. However, when it rains the lightning isnt far behind! We will get more into that in a bit.

As an internet Marketer your chief duty is to “up sell” individuals on their perception of reality. In Ben Macks book “Think Two Products Ahead” he speaks of how effective branding only occurs when companies think two products ahead rather then thinking just for the moment and for them to assemble thriving affiliations with their clients by means of their Brand The section in the book where Ben talks about creating your Legend Platform is just fantastic!

The “Brand” (called YOU) is built by using legends or tales that are told over and over and gain strenght with time. These stories should be permitted to say the opposite of what the others say and will increase as the stories get older. So, if you had to make a choice of the type of story you use to make your business sparkle like a diamond (you are reading articles like this to help you right?) why not let them be legends. A Legendary business is a profitable one!

Look out for the next article in the “Rainmaker and Branding” series coming soon to a blog, e-zine or website near you!

Chiropractic Video Testimonials

September 22nd, 2009 Matthew Loop DC No comments

Everyone knows that one of the most effective ways of marketing utilizes chiropractic testimonials to generate new patients. The good news is, there isn’t any out-of-pocket cost to the chiropractor for acquiring them.

That means that if you start now by amassing as many chiropractic testimonials from clients as you can, youre going to be setting yourself up for success. Often, patients that have been helped or healed by your services jump at the chance to talk about it and share with others.

The next step is to post these testimonials on YouTube and many other video sharing sites. From there, if done correctly, you’ll be able to watch as the traffic gets driven to your website and through your practice doors in little time. When you use social sharing sites online to upload your videos, you have the potential to generate wonderful buzz all while successfully branding yourself in your community as the absolute expert for chiropractic issues. People will feel compelled to watch these videos when they come up in search engines because, as humans, we naturally want to hear about successful tips and stories from others. Using this kind of human interest to market your chiropractic practice is incredibly smart.

Video testimonials are not an option in 2009, chiropractors MUST begin to get them! This is a perfect way to build large amounts of social proof in no time at all. I recommend keeping a video camera in the practice or buying a cheap Flip Mino HD. The chiropractic assistant can actually film them taking this out of the doctors hands completely. This is a very indirect form of chiropractic marketing but could be the most powerful in a sense.

Once you have a solid number of these amazing chiropractic testimonials ready to go, the next step is to get a good ranking with certain key words on Google to make the whole thing fly. Once you get these videos out into the major search engines, don’t be surprised to see a crop of new patients coming through your doors. Theres no reason under the sun why you shouldnt take the initiative and start this today. In fact, your practice may depend upon it.

Its very important that you get your current and past patients to sign release forms after they make their chiropractic testimonial on film. This is because these videos are going to be all over the internet soon enough. The document must simply give consent to use the patients image and words for your marketing purposes. Its alright if this is just a few sentences, followed by a signature.

Make it a goal to get at least 2 chiropractic testimonials on video every week and they will accumulate fast. This will boost the chiropractor’s credibility within his/her local community.

Those that are unsure about the technical component of all of this as well as the chiropractic marketing aspect should find a mentor that’s been using video marketing for several years. It will substantially reduce your learning curve so you can appear more professional.

How Web Video Marketing Grows Your Business

August 30th, 2009 Alexis Jameson No comments

Web video marketing can grow your business in many ways. First of all, you get thousands of visitors from search engines if your video is search engine optimized. You also get more thousands of visitors if your video is viral. This is called organic traffic. This type of marketing uses website videos to reach millions of viewers. Instead of presenting your web content in text and images, you make your voice heard with videos. Internet marketing is cheaper than TV commercials. Saving you thousands of dollars. Also internet users can view your video many times. The cost of promoting your video on search engines is not much compared to the traffic it will generate.

Web video marketing started with small entrepreneurs way back in early 1990. Today we have seen big players providing platforms for internet video hosting. There is no doubt that the pioneers of internet marketing reaped thousands if not millions of dollars back then. Unlike the early days, there are hundreds of websites which offer free video hosting. Some of these sites pay you a sum of money if your video is generating a lot of views.

Starters will find free hosting attractive. Especially for web video marketing which costs a lot of money. The major costs come from the size of bandwidth and space needed for video hosting. Videos take a lot of space and time to load. That is why millions of web masters flock to sites like YouTube. The hosting is free. Web masters will spend time promoting their videos instead of worrying about server costs.

The costs of web video marketing are twofold. Hosting and search engine optimization. No matter how appealing the video, it will be useless if web surfers cannot see it. This is the first goal of internet marketing. To present the video to the world. Success is measured in terms of traffic or page views. More often, entrepreneurs will find it necessary to pay for search engine optimization and promotion. Other forms of promotion include forum posting and buying advertising space on popular sites.

Sometimes it is not necessary to pay for web video hosting. There are efficient sites like YouTube which host videos for free. The other advantage of hosting on YouTube is that the server never breaks down. It’s always up at all times. What you simply need to do is to link the YouTube video to your website. Visitors to your site can play the video without navigating away from your site.

Branding your product is also important in web video marketing. It has been proved that branding improves sales. A small entrepreneur may broadcast a good video, but people may quickly forget about it if it’s not branded. When people associate a product with a brand, it is easy for them to type that name in search engines. Facebook provides business people and companies a special page for displaying their brand. These pages attract a lot of visitors who want to be updated when a new product is released. These visitors are loyal to the brand. Members of the brand group range from a few thousand to millions depending on the popularity of the brand or owner.

Lastly, it is important to know your audience if you are to be successful in web video marketing. Knowing your audience will help determine the kind of message you must send and the product that you must sell. The way you present your message may mean a difference between a dollar and a million dollars. The timing of your advertisement is also important because there are peak hours whereby the traffic is very high and off-peak hours whereby the traffic is extremely low. If you display your web video on off-peak hours you are unlikely to make good conversions.

How Internet Video Marketing Works

August 14th, 2009 Matthew Loop No comments

What better way to get your product seen than with internet video marketing? This can allow people to see you device you are trying to sell not just read a description, but see it working. It’s a great way that many people are looking to advertise many items online.

No you don’t have to be selling something that works either, maybe you have music you want to sell, just having an internet video playing the songs that you’ve created. It’s a way that many people will buy products they may have never even known about.

But there are other ways in which people will use internet video marketing just to get their names out there. Many people love to post up those funny videos, and we love to watch them. Say at the end of a video they took you to a site, where you could watch more of those videos. But you had to pay to join it; the fee could even be very small. However, if you’ve continually watched these items and love them you may be willing to pay to join. Internet video marketing has just worked for that person.

Internet video marketing will bring your name to so many people; you never know where it can take you. Say you’re a new artist trying to get your music out there. Placing up some of your songs on an internet video marketing site may get you a few people to buy your album. As they tell more friends your name gets spread out there to everyone.

Not the old way of advertising, but not a replacement to all the ways you need to advertise either. Internet video marketing when combined with other ways of advertising is a great way to get everyone to know who you are. It still will take time, and may not make you a millionaire, but isn’t it better than no one having heard of you?

The most important thing in any type of advertising is getting your product out there. So with internet video marketing added into the fray you have even more options of advertising. This will of course bring in many more people to your site. Even if that video has nothing to do with your product, it can just be funny. People will come and look to see who made the video and what they are selling.

Check into another way to advertise with internet video marketing. You may not notice the benefits at first, but as you post on more spots, the people will come. It may even be the way you get a big break and become a famous person!

Key Principles of Online Business Branding

July 18th, 2009 Sebastian Page No comments

Are you finding that success on the internet marketplace requires you to be able to stand out from the competition? Do you honestly feel that you have a strong enough brand that you can stand out in the enormous crowd of competitors which are in the same business as you?

What if you build yourself an authority and customer loyalty by being an expert in what you do? Here you will find principles of online branding, which will help you to make it happen.

The first one is always your unique selling position. In other words, what is it about your company that cannot be duplicated by the competition? If you say ‘good service’ or ‘money back guarantee or ‘dedication to excellence’ you are simply saying the same thing which everyone else is. This is not a foundation upon which you can build a personal brand online. You need to really take the time to state what it is which sets you apart from the competition.

Once you have this, you begin building your brand based on value instead of price. Companies who compete only on being a cheaper solution are always going to be in the business of cutting prices to compete. This is a bad place to be because the lower your prices are the less resources you have to dedicate to the quality of your service or product. Not only that, emphasis on price takes the attention away from the true source of value which needs to be your brand.

The next essential principle is to connect a person or a personality to your brand. People are usually driven by emotions when it comes to making decisions on purchasing something, they buy because they like the person from whom they buy.

No way your competitors will be able to duplicate such a personality. This is called relationship marketing, and it is an essential component of branding.

After that, make sure your brand offers some kind of benefit for the customer. You need to set up expectation for your company to fill, brand is a kind of promise to a customer. So work hard on that and then pass over to creating your advertisement and taglines based on this promise.

So, review your branding strategy and make sure you don’t miss out any of these principles. It may take some time, but you will be rewarded for your consistency with constantly growing business and loyal customers.

Importance Of A Professionally Designed Corporate Logo Design

July 10th, 2009 Nathan Ha No comments

A logo must communicate the essence of your brand in the simplest way possible, but this straightforwardness is not always easy to achieve. Moreover, a logo must be appealing, with a professional design, which makes the task of corporate logo designing even more tough.

A pro logo designer knows exactly how to capture a brand’s uniqueness in a compact graphic. His expertise and training enable him to convey the message clearly in a logo. This is the reason why when it comes to creating a logo, nothing less than a professional logo designer is suitable.

Logo design is a critical area of graphic design in which several factors play a role – from special lettering style to distinctive shaping and coloring. It is therefore a highly technical and creative exercise, which needs professional involvement. Logo designers know precisely how to make logos quickly recognizable and meaningful. For example, for a company which provides courier service, the designer will need to design a logo which shows speed and motion.

A good pro logo designer will be reasonably comfortable in using a graphic design software, which is one of the important requirements of this activity. These designers manage every aspect of logo design with professional ease, and years of experience means that they can think on their feet, and come up with innovative ideas quickly. A logo of almost any style can be designed by a logo designer taking into account your requirements since they are usually supported by software and graphic design experts.

It is always a smart decision to use professional support of a logo designer in designing a corporate logo design, as it plays a critical role in building the brand image for a company.

How to Ship a Trade Show Exhibit Display

July 9th, 2009 Amy Nutt No comments

Trade shows are common place and are events organised periodically where practitioners or professionals in a particular industry show off their products and services both old and new in the bid to attract new prospects or clients. Organising these trade shows is sort of expensive and each interested exhibitor often has to pay a sum of money to secure a space at the exhibition grounds.

One of the most important tools needed for a successful exhibition is the trade show booth or display. This is more like a stand where all the exhibitor’s products are showcased so as to attract prospects and generate leads. The reason most companies participate in these trade show exhibits is to generate more leads as all attendees are either people in the business or those looking for a solution to their business or personal challenges.

All exhibition stands and booths have to be transported to the location of the exhibition early so that everything is ready before or at the commencement of the exhibition. Since exhibitions are not necessarily located within one’s vicinity, the best option is to send the booth far ahead or travel with it if the company is big and has its own truck or bus. Depending on what products are to be displayed, product displays for the exhibition can be transported in cars or other forms of transport. If the displays are produced or designed by an exhibition display designer or company, they could help ship. In fact, most exhibition designer companies will ship the products to your location of choice.

Whichever way you look at it, you could easily ship the products to any venue of your choice. Taking up the shipping of your products is not advisable particularly when you are just starting out and cannot afford to risk any damages to the products. Effectively shipping any product will involve the choice of transportation and the time frame. For example, an exhibition taking place 1000 miles from your domicile will be better shipped using air transportation or FedEx. The same applies to the time frame. If an exhibition is going to begin in two days, and the product isn’t going to be ready for shipping until tomorrow, you can either hire a courier or take it there by yourself. If you will hire the courier service, please note that this would cost you extra as it is then termed ‘express delivery’

When shipping, care should be taken to avoid any breakages or damages to the products for display. If you are in doubt about how to do this, you can get in touch with any courier services around or moving companies if the display is large in size and weight or sensitive as in aquariums. Courier services are already used to delivering sensitive packages and can be trusted to take care of it with utmost care.

And if you feel that taking it yourself would be best, pack the products in a manner that will prevent it from getting damaged.
